If you are interested in pursuing an undergraduate degree program
at Louisiana Tech University, please refer to the checklist below. The following is a list of all
undergraduate admission requirements needed to make an application for admission.

** Application fee may be paid by check, money order, or credit card. If paying by credit card, please send us the
name as it appears on the card, the card number, the expiration date, and the type of card (MasterCard, Visa,
Discover, American Express, etc.).
Application fee waiver can not be provided.
*** Certified translations of supporting documents in English must accompany all documents.
**** TOEFL must be taken within the last 2 years.
***** The ACT or SAT-1 score is useful in placing students in their English and Math classes.
Students interested in pursuing a degree in Architecture MUST have a composite score of 23 on the ACT or
a total score of 1060 on the SAT-1 and a High School GPA of 2.5 in order to be admitted.

An application will not be considered without specific documentation of ye arly funds available to cover
each year of study at the University. Louisiana Tech University estimates the student's average cost for
an academic term of twelve months to be:
Tuition and Fees $ 8,438.00
Living expenses $ 6,900.00 (including meals and housing)
Books and Insurance $ 1,150.00

When the required credentials are on file, your application will be processed and you will be notified of the
decision by mail. We cannot give this information out over the phone. If you want anyone other than yourself
to receive information, we must have written permission from you stating the full name of the person.
I-20s will only be issued to accepted students.

International students who wish to apply for Graduate School admission (Masters or Ph.D.) should contact the

If you are transferring from another college or university in the United States, you must meet all
admission requirements at Tech, as well as provide the following information for your admission to be complete:
- A copy of your I-20 and a front-and-back copy of your I-94
- Transcripts from the current College/University you are attending
