All non-immigrant international students enrolled at the university are required to be insured. The insurance premium is included in the tuition fees. Insurance is covered quarter by quarter. Students not enrolled for a quarter are not covered in any insurance plan. Should a student decide to buy just the insurance for the quarter he or she is not enrolled in, he/she can purchase the accident and sickness insurance by contacting the International Student Office.
Louisiana Tech students will need to come by ISO to obtain insurance ID card. Students may also call AMA & Associates at (800) 456-7480; or contact email@example.com for additional plan information.
To purchase additional insurance to get more coverage, please contact the company. If a student wants to buy an insurance plan for their dependents such as a spouse and/or children under 21 years of age or during the first 12 months of OPT, or during STEM extension please visit the International Student Office.
