The Bulldog Scholarship

 What is it?

The Bulldog Scholarship is an out-of-state tuition and fee waiver that will subtract 46% of your total tuition costs. This will bring your total cost of tuition from $17,997 to approximately $10,728.* If eligible for this scholarship, you will be considered as a domestic in-state student for tuition purposes. Are You Eligible?

New International Students

Requirements:

  • -Submit an application form
  • -Minimum TOEFL score of 79, IELTS band 6.5, SAT of 1130, or ACT of 23.
  • -Cumulative High School GPA of 2.5 or higher
  • -Have no need for remedial coursework (SAT Math of 510/SAT Evidence-based Reading and Writing 500 or a placement exam upon arrival)

Note: The Bulldog Scholarship applications are only processed after receiving applicant's Official Final Transcript. Students are advised to send their official transcript as early as possible during the admission process. For questions, please contact iso@latech.edu.

 

Transfer/Currently Enrolled International Students

Requirements:

  • -Submit an application form
  • -Completed 12 hours of credit from Louisiana Tech University or an accredited school
  • -Earned a cumulative GPA of 2.75
  • -Have no need for remedial course work

Students Transferring from Outside the US

International students who are transferring from another university outside of the US must complete at least 12 credit hours at Louisiana Tech University and maintain a 2.75 GPA in order to qualify for the Bulldog Scholarship.

 

Graduate Students

International graduate students are not eligible for the Bulldog Scholarship. However, they may apply for graduate assistantships, which will also waive out-of-state tuition and fees.
